Teachers, do you feel like starting up the school year is exhausting? Every single year?

Would you like to find a way of overcoming that beginning of the year overwhelmed feeling?

Are you tired of:

teacher unable to sleep

not being able to sleep and feeling absolutely wiped out every single day

worried teacher

worrying about getting assessments done, teaching routines, and still making learning fun

overwhelmed teacher

never feeling fully prepared because of the large range of abilities in your class

Does this sound like you?

• can't turn off teacher brain
• wondering how you are going to do assessments

• not finding enough time for planning
• juggling setting up routines while keeping kids engaged
• differentiating for range of ability levels
• trying to make lessons fresh and engaging
exhausted teacher

So many questions and worries start to fill the teacher brain

How can I go on when I am so exhausted?
How will I manage to assess everyone while keeping others engaged?
What if the range in my class is too wide?

I've been there

Diamond Mom/Charlene and cat
I started my career teaching elementary music and then I transitioned into a primary classroom. I was overwhelmed with how much I didn't know about the energy and exhaustion of getting through those first few weeks of school. It wasn't that I didn't know what to teach, but I wasn't prepared for all the different classroom management strategies and ability levels that I needed to manage while teaching and assessing students. I needed to develop a plan. With the help of colleagues and referring back to my own training, I was able to develop some systems and resources that helped. I was still really tired at the end of the day, but I was no longer overwhelmed. Throughout the years, I found the beginning of the school year to be enjoyable and fun and I started to look forward to it.

Imagine being able to relax and just enjoy teaching your class
